Parish Life Commission"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself." (Luke 10:27)

Loving your neighbor starts with loving yourself. Here in Parish Life we come together as a parish family and demonstrate our love for this family. Our care consists of many activities initiated and run by various members of the parish.
College Student Correspondence
This ministry is a way to keep in touch with students who are attending a college or university.
Fellowship Committee
This committee is chaired by a Vestry member and consists of one other Vestry member and numerous members of the congregation. Its purpose is to assist the Rector, Vestry and body of the church in implementing the inreach-renewal portion of the stated purpose of the church, which is “to function as a Christian family in which all are nurtured in Jesus Christ through scripture, sacraments, prayer and love, enabling us to proclaim God’s love joyfully and witness to His power.” This committee provides hosts for the coffee hours, potlucks during the year and punch on the lawn in the summer. It also plans the annual parish picnic and other projects throughout the year. This is a good opportunity for our young people to become involved in the life of the church.
Food Ministry
This ministry supports the parish’s mission by delivering meals to a person or family that has had a new baby, is going through a period of convalescence related to illness, injury, or hospitalization, or is in crisis because of a death in the family, or the loss of work. More than just a meal, this sustains a sense of community in our church family.
Lych Gate
The Lych Gate is our weekly newsletter. It is named after our Lych Gate, the covered structure that marks the entrance to our church yard from Main Street.

Stephen Ministry

The confidential care-giver and care-receiver relationship, usually conducted by weekly visits, may continue for months or years.
