Education Commission“Christian Education” is far more than a one-hour class on a Sunday morning or a weekly small-group gathering.
|
Clergy and lay leaders provide venues and opportunities in music and liturgy, mission trips and service, guilds and fellowship, and the church seasons and sacraments to educate both young and “older” in great variety, imagination and depth.
Christian Formation Committee
The Christian Formation committee consists of a Vestry member and several members of the congregation. This committee oversees the education of children, youth and adults. There are myriad ways for parishioners to contribute to the Christian education program.
Children's Church
Children's Church is available during the late service on Sunday mornings and on some special meetings during the week. There are always at least two people to care for the children and to assist the parents. Children's Church is made available to allow parents who wish to have a time to worship without the close care of their children and yet allowing them to have the peace of mind that their children are well cared for. The Greeter will go to the Parish House to assist the volunteers in bringing the children to the church in time for them to be present for communion.
Day School Committee
The Day School Committee guides and supports the Day School.
